A 3-Day Visual Fine Arts Festival in LionsHead
Over 70 artists from the U.S. will converge on the LionsHead parking structure in Vail for the three day visual arts festival, June 26-28. An array of artwork will be on display including watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings, woodworking, glass, sculptures, furniture, mosaics, ceramics, metalwork, photography and jewelry. Take advantage of the unique opportunity to meet each exhibiting artist in person. Additionally, enjoy street entertainers and live performances throughout the day, plus great food.

Summer unofficially kicks off with the Farmer’s market in Vail this Sunday June 21st.

An Outdoor Farmers’ Market in the Heart of Vail
The true sign of summer in Vail is the Sunday Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show. Located on Meadow Drive in the Heart of Vail Village, the Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show is in its eighth year and has become a favorite for all ages. Vail Resorts will be the first ski company in North America to require its workers to wear helmets when they’re skiing or riding on the job, starting next ski season.

In addition, all children 12 and under in the five resorts’ ski and ride schools also will be required to wear helmets.

Summer is right around the corner and there are a lot of things to do in Vail year round!

Vail Mountain will continue to operate more than 5,200 acres of skiable lift-served terrain and all on-mountain dining facilities through Sunday, April 12. The three main base area facilities – Vail Village, Lionshead and Golden Peak will remain open through Sunday, April 19. Operating hours will remain the same. Lifts will operate on Vail’s front side from 8:30 to 4 p.m. and the Back Bowls will continue to close at 3:30 p.m. and Blue Sky Basin will close at 3 p.m.
